We make art books that have a story to tell, with a special focus on art outside traditional gallery contexts. In our Familiars series – in which we invite artists to reimagine classic works of literature – or our new series, the Irregulars – about fascinating pockets of British visual culture – we try to find art in the most intriguing and unusual places.
Submission Policy
We're always happy to hear from artists and writers with proposals for books, but ideally they should fit within our current remit: art history, with an emphasis on art made outside the traditional gallery system, and especially on culture in Britain after 1945. Email with a brief enquiry in the first instance.
