Based in Bologna, Started 2018
Started in the summer of 2018 as a personal research project from an urge to discover new photographic work, within a year, Zone has grown into not only a contemporary photography magazine but a world-wide community of photographers, artists, and photography-enthusiasts alike. As it continues to grow, the aim of Zone is to cultivate a variety of dialogues between artists, artists and their audience, as well as supporting them with printed and online publications.
Submission Policy
Submissions are open worldwide to photographers and photography based media artists with no restrictions in terms of age or genre. We are always looking to discover new work. Our submission guidelines are available in our website and social media. In addition to the yearly open submissions, we make open calls for printed or online issues. In general, we accept every kind of submission (by email, dm or via hashtags for ig etc.) from visual artists, musicians, researchers, curators, writers and we are always open to any collaboration ideas.
